STEP BY STEP APPLICATION SYSTEM GUIDELINE
    1. SIGN IN
      In order to begin the application progress, you must first register for an account and then log in using the unique Username and Password you created when registering.

      Please note: Your Username and Password are permanent and attached to your account. Use these same details each time you need access to your account whether applying for new jobs, continuing existing applications and/or checking your application progress. It is advisable to ensure that you always have access to the email account used to register, as this is where we will be communicating all correspondences having to do with your account/applications.
    2. DESIGNATION
      Use the drop down box to choose the post in which you desire to apply for. You will then be lead to the application form (16 A, B or C) appropriate for the desired post.

      Please note: You will only be able to apply for current/existing vacancies that have been advertised. It is advisable to ensure that you meet all of the qualifications required for the position prior to submitting an application. You can find the ‘Terms of Reference’ for each vacancy at: www.psc.gov.gm
    3. PERSONAL INFORMATION
      This is the face of your profile and requires all of your personal/background information to capture up your biodata in our database.
      You must fill this portion in its entirety, including the uploading of a passport sized photo of yourself.
      Please note: The submission of any falsified information can and will lead to disciplinary action, it is advisable to ensure that all of the information you submit is accurate and legally yours.
    4. ACADEMIC DETAILS
      In order to capture your entire education history in our database, you are required to submit any and all of your academic details and records as required for the desired post. Should it be required for the desired post, Examination Results are to be uploaded in the ‘Document Upload’ section of the online application.

      Please note: The submission of any falsified information can and will lead to disciplinary action, it is advisable to ensure that all of the information you submit is accurate and legally yours.
    5. EMPLOYMENT HISTORY/REFERENCE
      In order to capture your employment history in our database, you are required to submit any relevant employment information such as occupation, position, dates of employment and reason(s) for leaving. Additionally, you are required to provide two (2) professional references. These should be individuals whom you have worked with on a professional level or studied under, that can provide us information about your character, work ethic, and performance capacity.

      Examples of professional references: Former employers, college professors/teachers, coaches or other advisors

      Please note: If you are currently employed as a Civil Servant under the Government of the Gambia, you must receive written approval from your Head of Department in order for your application to be considered. The approval is to be uploaded in the ‘Document Upload’ section of the online application.
    6. UPLOADING DOCUMENTS
      In this section, you are required to upload ALL documents relevant to the desired post of which you are applying. Each application form has a different set of requirements, so be sure to familiarize yourself with the documents required for each.

      Please note: Failure to upload all required documents by the application due date can lead to the overall invalidation of your application. It is advisable to ensure that all documents are uploaded to the correction section, you can review the chosen document once it is uploaded. If called in for an interview, you will be required to bring in the ORIGINAL version of all uploaded documents for review by the Commission. Copies will not be accepted. The submission of any falsified information can and will lead to disciplinary action, it is advisable to ensure that all of the information you submit is accurate and legally yours.
    7. APPLICATION OVERVIEW
      You can now review all information submitted in your application to check for accuracy. It is advisable to thoroughly read through the content as you have the opportunity to edit should there be any mistakes. Please note: Once your application is submitted, you will no longer have the opportunity to edit any information on your application.
    8. E-SIGNATURE
      Prior to submitting your application, it is required of you to declare that all of the information you have provided is true and complete to the best of your knowledge. The inputting of your name and the date of submission will constitute as your e-signature.

      Please note: It is advisable to thoroughly review all of your information as stipulated in the previous step. The submission of any falsified information can and will lead to legal action.
